Appearance
Mina is a young girl hailing from the mystical Minish woods. As a minish she resembles an anthropomorphic mouse and is very small, no bigger than the average Hylain’s thumb. Her skin is very pale and her face is round and slender with large beady brown eyes and she has a feather like tail. Similarly to the hylians she has long pointy ears along with long hazel brown hair going all the way down to her waist. She is also rather physically fit thanks to training at an early age and is considered above average in terms of looks among her people. Mina wears an amethyst colored tunic and a matching purple cap gifted to her by close friend, she also wears a magical ring called “The Hylian’s Might” which lets her temporarily grow in height reaching about 4’2” inches but even then she is considered pretty small and can easily be mistaken for a child in a grown man’s eyes. She has a crescent shaped scar on her left cheek.

Backstory
Judging by her cheerful disposition one could easily assume that Mina lived a mostly peaceful life before becoming an adventurer and while that may partially be true her early days was far from uneventful. She spent most of her time studying under her mother’s tutelage who is a former scholar and similarly to her daughter traveled a lot before finally settling down and opened up a business of her own in the forest. When the time for study was over Mina’s father frequently took her sparring much to her dismay at first but he didn’t give her much of a choice in the matter, being well trained in the arts of combat and an strict teacher he taught Mina how to maneuver and defend herself in a fight should such a situation ever occur. If she was not studying or training Mina usually found herself exploring the outskirts of her hometown searching for trinkets and other odd objects she might come across.
This was Mina’s statuesque until she entered her teens and her parents decided to separate, the main reason for this being that her father who was originally from the mountain tribe missed his work as a blacksmith and miner there. Her parents then came to an agreement that they would live separately so they could focus on their respective field of work while still staying devoted to each other, but with a few compromises to make it easier on themselves. And of course be good parents to their daughter. Shortly before Mina’s father moved out he helped his mate rebuild their current home into an inn where she could run her business, with the top floor serving as private quarters for the family and the second and first floor being available for visitors. The facility itself was built into a custom made chest made from artisans in castle town.
After her parents separation Mina lived in their newly rebuilt home in the forest and spent most of her time helping her mother out with her business which was something she enjoyed for a while. But soon the lure of adventure drew her out quite literally as she began to feel some sort of pulling sensation she couldn’t explain coming from deep within the forest, following this odd feeling Mina found her way to one of the old shrines of her people where she found an odd ring that while worn temporarily increased her height to that of an average Hylian child. With this newfound power and some much needed study Mina soon came to realize that he had an affinity for magic something that while not uncommon in her people’s history it wasn’t practiced as much as it used to be by today’s standards. Wanting to learn more about this affinity Mina left the safety of her home as soon as she came of age hoping to find some answers somewhere.

Personality
Mina is a high spirted soul who seeks adventure wherever the winds may guide her. She enjoys seeing new places and meeting new people and is the most likely one to strike a conversation with a random stranger she just met without a second thought. Being curious to a fault Mina spends most of her time traveling around Hyrule alone or with friends hoping to find something new and exciting. Because of her somewhat candid personality Mina is a very open person who enjoys the company of others whether if it’s just for some casual chatting or a fun game of cards. She likes to keep people around her happy and does her best to achieve that if given the opportunity either through supportive pep talk or a much needed hug.
Despite her good intentions Mina’s willingness to be close to others can sometimes become awkward for the people around her, having grown up in an environment where close intimacy was almost a daily occurrence Mina came to assume that it was the norm. This mindset has bled over into her social behavior and can lead to her sounding very forward and blunt with her comments when it comes to subjects other people would consider intimate or private. So she is surprised when she get chocked expression from her friends for saying something that would peak someone’s interest back at home, not fully realizing that she might have said something inappropriate.
Even with her somewhat flawed social skills Mina is quite intelligent and has a decent pool of knowledge to pull from thanks to her studies, she is an avid reader of books and likes to talk about old folklore and legends but do enjoy small talk and occasionally sharing secrets too. Since she left home she has also developed a particular fascination with card games, something that is commonly played by humans.

Olivia Anvindir: Olivia Anvindir is Mina’s mother and proud owner of the Honey Chest inn located Minish woods. She is kindhearted soul who values others wellbeing above her own and that clearly shows in her treatment of her daughter Mina and of course the customers that visit her inn. Olivia is quick to greet people with a welcoming smile and is often the first to strike a conversation and does her best to be as helpful as possible. She is well educated thanks to her travels and scholarly studies and is also a top notch cook with all of the meals served at her inn being made by her. The Honey Chest Inn itself is built into Olivia and Mina's house as three floor building all in a custom made chest serving as both business and home. With the inn’s theme being “human-like” most of the inn’s décor are based on human or hylian designs and the dishes served are also made after recipes made by humans making the inn very popular among minish.

After dealing with a giant fire breathing lizard in the caverns of Death Mountain with some other adventurers as part of a bounty Mina quickly became familiar with two of the adventurers she fought with after meeting them at a bar sometime after. A scholar named Delia and an alchemist going by the name Nirn. The alchemist was apparently being bothered by some group that tried to make contact with him and he assumed they wanted him to join them or kill him if he didn’t accept. Although Nirn didn’t specifically ask for aid Mina was quick to offer it as helping people was something her people thrived on. Despite the alchemist declining her offer Mina asked Delia to help as the minish didn’t want Nirn to face this shady group of people alone.
Unfortunately the duo arrived too late to help Nirn as the alchemist had gone off on his own to face his oppressors and was ultimately killed right in front of the two. Struck with grief Mina was able to salvage a piece of an alchemic scroll that Nirn had carried with him that she kept as memory of him. Things took a turn for the worse from there as the man that had killed Nirn whose name was Levis had lashed out towards his organization, a group of Twili know as the Order of Darklight and word of him killing Nirn and other innocents spread rather quickly. In response Mina along with Delia and some other adventurers was then recruited by a Hyrulain guard by the name of Meduhi to hunt down Levis and stop his killing spree. Their search led them to the cold mountains of Snowpeak where they eventually found Levis and attempted to arrest him. A battle broke out and Levis was killed as a result but not before killing his former leader Zilanthar, the head of the Order of Darklight who wanted to clean his organizations name of Levis’s crimes.

Chapter 2: Shadows, Ice and Fire
After a visit to the twilight realm with the aid of one of their allies Mina's friend and fellow scholar Delia who is the leader of the guild Windgate Coalition of Scholars which Mina was a part of at the time felt that the Twili group they had encountered both outside and inside the twilight realm known as the Order of Darklight was dangerous and unstable, not just to the guild but possibly to Hyrule as a whole if left unchecked. Because of recent events with one of their members going rogue and killing innocents and even the orders own leader Mina’s guild ultimately decided to put an end to the order while on a trip to the fabled Snowpeak ruins, from which a portal to the twilight realm was located nearby. Initially protesting the idea of destroying the order Mina ultimately decided to help her guild as she rather be by their side and defend them than risking not be there and they die because of it.
After putting a stop to the orders plans and ultimately burning it to the ground Mina’s guild reunited with the rest of their party to finish their exploration of the Snowpeak ruins. Something her guild initially had used as a cover-up to not get unaffiliated people involved in the ordeal. At some point during their exploration of the ruins Mina decided to tap into her magic potential, something she initially didn’t want to do because of a stigma towards spell casters among her people which originates from the legends of the wind mage Vaati. Although she lacked proper skill and discipline in the arts Mina’s natural affinity for spellcasting was enough to give her allies an edge against the dangers of the Snowpeak ruins and ultimately bring them to victory.

Chapter 3: Drowning the pain
After these unpleasant events Mina decided returned home to Minish Woods for some much needed rest and contemplation. The world outside her home had been much harsher then she had anticipated and she didn’t feel good about all the fighting she had been a part of, so instead she decide to stay at home for some time and help with her mother's business and return to adventuring once she felt the urge to do so. When Mina finally returned to her guild after her time at home the guild was in the process of preparing for a trip to the great sea and visit Delia’s home town. Mina had never been out at sea before so the prospect of it sounded exciting. The excitement didn’t last too long however as their ship crashed and sunk for reasons Mina was unaware of but luckily she managed to get ashore with some of the adventurers that had joined her guild for this venture. But to her horror Mina didn’t find any of her guild mates once she returned to shore and after much searching she presumed them lost to the sea.
Once again returning home with a heavy heart Mina sought the comfort of her family. Trying to forget the pain caused by the loss of her guild and almost giving up on adventuring entirely as she started to question the point of going out there and get hurt when she could just stay at home and be loved and surrounded by family, friends and possibly strange bedfellows.

Chapter 4: Call of the Mei
Despite thinking she would never leave to forest again Mina eventually found herself back at the very bar she had first met her first non Minish friends Delia and Nirn a month or so later. She had initially gone to Castle town to get some supplies for her mother’s business. But happened to be in the area so she decided to get something to eat. Not long after she had entered Mina was approached by one of her own people, a minish named Vari who claimed he had been looking for her for some time. When Mina inquired why Vari had been looking for her he explained the he was a member of a group of minish mages calling them themselves the Mei and they wished for her to join them as magic practice carried a certain stigma to it among the minish and they didn’t want to leave a possible rogue spell caster unchecked.
Mina declined the offer to join but agreed to meet with the Mei’s leader to prove that she had no malevolent motives for her magic knowledge. Along the way to the forest the two minish recruited a woman named Shearah, one of the many adventurers that had joined Mina’s old guild for their trip to the great sea and one of the few that survived along with Mina when their ship sank. And out in the fields of Hyrule the trio ran into a hylian engineer named Edin who had a strange pet companion made out of metal. Mina and her new allies eventually made their way to Minish woods where Mina met with the leader of the Mei mages at their headquarters and after confirming she was not a threat she was free to go. After her business with the Mei were concluded Mina invited Vari along with Shearah and Edin to stay at her home for the night and for the first time in a long while Mina felt the pain that had plagued her since the loss of her old guild diminish, even if only by a little.
