Welcome, archers! Please view our selection of skills below. If you'd like to train in one of these skills, post below in order to pay their rupee cost. Only skills between levels 1-19 are available here. Starting at level 20, you must choose an Archer Subclass.
Class Feature: Ranger
Archers do not need to have a Ranged weapon equipped in order to benefit from their skills. Basic Attacks will go off of the range type of their equipped weapon, but skills will all be treated as ranged, regardless of the equipped weapon. Starting Skill; Ranged:Bolt Volley: The Archer volleys their next hit. This attack fires three arrows, one hitting at -5% accuracy, the second one hitting at -10% accuracy, and the last one hitting at -20% accuracy. Each individual arrow deals standard damage. 3 round cooldown. Tier 1Levels 1-4Skill; Ranged: Sundering Bolt: The Archer fires a piercing arrow designed to damage armor. This attack ignores enemy defensive buffs, and, if it hits, it deals standard damage and lowers the enemy's mitigation by 15% for 2 rounds. 4 round cooldown. Rupee Cost: 100 Skill: Double Shot: The Archer fires two arrows, the second hit dealing more damage than the first, if it hits. Both hits must pass individual accuracy checks. The first hit deals standard damage, but the second hit deals 1.3x modified damage. 4 round cooldown. Rupee Cost: 100 Levels 5-9Skill: Focus Aim: The Archer focuses his/her aim, gaining a 100% chance to hit on his/her next attack, plus gaining a 20% chance to critical on their next hit. If used with a multi-hit move, subsequent hits have a 20% less chance to hit than the hit before them. 7 round cooldown. Rupee Cost: 150 Skill: Perfect Positioning: The Archer becomes a master of positioning, gaining an additional 5% accuracy, critical, and evasion. This is a passive skill, but must still be an equipped skill. Rupee Cost: 150 Tier 2Levels 10-14Skill; Ranged: Elemental Arrows: The Archer imbues his/her next skill or basic attack with an element of choice, dealing +3 +10% of Attack as bonus damage per hit to any target. If used with a skill, the skill must be available for use when Elemental Arrows is cast. The Archer may attack on the turn that this skill is activated. In addition, the element of choice has special effects: Ice: Converts damage to the Ice type, and grants a 70% chance to cause frostbite to an enemy on each hit, dealing 50% of the Archer's modded Attack in ice damage to the target over 3 turns. If this attack crits, the target is additionally Frozen for 1 round. Fire: Converts damage to the Fire type, and grants a 70% chance to burn an enemy on each hit, dealing 50% of the Archer's modded Attack in burning damage to the target over 3 turns. If this attack crits, the target is additionally Singed for 1 round. Light: Converts damage to the Light type, and grants a 50% chance to Daze an enemy on each hit for one round. If this attack lands critically, the target is automatically Blinded for 1 round. Electric: Converts damage to the Electric type, and grants a 30% chance on each hit to Shock for 2 rounds, +10% additional bonus chance to Shock for each piece of metal armor the target is wearing. The Archer may only choose 1 element to imbue all of his/her bolts with for the subsequent attack, and may NOT choose multiple element types even if the attack is a multi-hit attack. 3 round cooldown. Rupee Cost: 200 Skill; Ranged: Headshot: The Archer aims for a headshot, dealing 1.3x damage and Concussing the target for 2 rounds. If this attack crits, the target is additionally Vulnerable for 2 rounds. 7 round cooldown. Rupee Cost: 200 Levels 15-19Skill; Ranged: Arrow Rain: The Archer fires a hail of arrows at the target location, dealing 50% modifiable damage to up to 4 targets and automatically bleeding any targets struck for 50% modifiable Attack damage over 3 turns. Each hit must pass its own accuracy check and may individually crit. If a target is crit, all attacks made against them for the next 2 rounds have a 20% bonus chance to cause bleeding from any source. 7 round cooldown. Rupee Cost: 250 Skill; Ranged: Bomb Bolt: An Archer attaches a bomb to his arrow. His next basic attack or skill deals an additional +3 +10% of Attack as bonus explosive damage to an enemy, plus 50% of the damage dealt to up to 2 adjacent enemies per hit. If used with a skill, the skill must be available for use when Bomb Arrows is cast. If the primary target is struck, an accuracy check does not need to be passed versus the splash damage targets. 4 round cooldown. Rupee Cost: 250
