Special Rules: Proof & Alcohol Tolerance
Each alcoholic drink is rated with a Proof number that represents how strong the drink is, ranging from 1-200. The higher the number, the more concentrated the alcohol in the drink is! Most people can only tolerate drinking 100 total proof per day before becoming too drunk to drink any more alcohol. Even after the drink wears off and you sober up, once you have hit your tolerance level you may not drink any further Alcoholic drinks for the remainder of the session. If you have not yet hit your tolerance and imbibe a drink that takes you ABOVE your tolerance, you become Sickened for 4 rounds. Remember to drink responsibly!

Zora Zinfandel | A red wine fermented underwater using sea grapes, giving it a noticeably salty and fishy aftertaste. Considered an acquired taste, even among the River Zora who brew it. Grants the drinker +40% Water damage and a 50% chance to Splash for 3 rounds. Also causes the user to take 30% increased incoming damage from Electric damage and is automatically Staticked for 1 round on any successful hits that deal Electric damage. | 70 Proof | 175 Rupees |
Kokiri Sauvignon Blanc de Baba | A rare white wine aged in barrels made from the slightly-venomous wood of the Deku Baba. The toxic oils seep into the wine and causes the drinker's tongue to go numb. Goron Fire Whiskey | A high proof spirit distilled from lava… somehow. It has a spicy taste that burns going down, and fills the veins with vigorous warmth. Grants the drinker +30% increased Fire damage, and a 50% Burn chance for 3 rounds. Also causes the user to take 30% increased incoming damage from Ice damage and is automatically Drenched for 1 round on any successful hits that deal Electric damage. | 70 Proof | 175 Rupees |
Noble Pursuit | A Gerudo cocktail shaken over special ice from the highlands. It is considered the perfect drink to combat the sweltering desert heat. Grants the drinker +25% Freeze chance and +50% resistance to heat and fire damage for 3 rounds. Also causes the user to take one stack of Slow and -20% Defense. | 80 Proof | 200 Rupees |
Sheikah Sake | A traditional junmai daiginjo-shu rice wine that will give you the confidence to sneak around like a ninja. Grants Minor Stealth for 1 round on user, plus +25% crit chance on the attack that breaks this stealth. Twilit Imperial Stout | An inky black beer that is as dark and bitter as the sorcerous Twilight Interlopers who invented the recipe. Grants bonus Magic Power equal to 25% of the user's Attack stat for the next 3 rounds. Rito Rum | A sweet liquor pressed from naturally fermented fruit. The Rito use it to steel the nerves for those tense high-altitude flights. Wish you could get drunk off your collection of potions? Now you can!! Here you can ferment your extra potions, elixrs, milk, soup… if its a liquid and in a bottle, we can ferment it.
Fermenting your drink is as simple as waiting. Just leave your bottled non-Alchoholic drinks with us before your adventures, and over time the drink will become stronger. The strength and effects of the ferment will be determined by how long you leave the potion to age before taking it back, as well as the original drink used. Fermenting your potions costs a fee determined at the time of pick up based on how long you waited.
