Skill;
Piercing Jabs: Converts all damage dealt by the Resolute Duelist’s basic attacks to modified Competency damage with 15% Armor Penetration. This can be used in conjunction with other abilities that modify or replace the basic attacks, such as the Weapon Proficiency and Weapon Mastery feats or items like the Fire Wand.
In addition, this skill can be activated to perform an armor piercing strike against a single target, dealing standard Competency damage, Sunders the target for 2 Rounds, and reduces the target’s outgoing damage by the amount of Defensive bonus removed by the Sunder for the duration of the effect (i.e., if a target had 10% evasion and 10% mitigation, this skill would additionally reduce their outgoing damage by 20%).
6 round cooldown. The passive basic attack modifying effects still apply even when the active component is on cooldown.

Stop Cut: The Resolute Duelist delivers a stifling blow to a target, dealing 1.1x Competency damage and Dazing them for 2 Rounds. If the Duelist is targeted by a foe’s attack in the same Round (even if the attack misses), the duration of the Daze is increased to 3 Rounds instead.

En Garde!: The Resolute Duelist challenges a foe, Taunting a target for 2 Rounds. This does not need to pass accuracy, and can be used on any targetable foe within visible line of sight. In addition, the Resolute Duelist gains an evasion boost equal to 20% of their Competency stat for the duration of the Taunt. The evasion boost lasts until the Taunt effect on the chosen target is no longer active, even if the Taunt had been extended by using an additional Taunt before the first one had ended, and can also be ended early if the Taunt is cleared before the full duration had expired.

Enervating Assault: The Resolute Duelist carefully aims before striking at a target with the intent to debilitate their offensive capabilities. This attack has bonus accuracy equal to 20% of the Duelist’s Competency stat, dealing damage equal to 50% of the Duelist’s modifiable Competency and reduces the target’s outgoing damage by 20% for 2 Rounds.
4 round cooldown after the effect expires.

Tier 4: Levels 30-34

Resolute Riposte: An advanced parrying technique that has a 50% chance to land a debilitating counterstrike when an attacker fails an melee accuracy check against the Resolute Duelist. The counterstrike must pass standard accuracy and cannot critically hit, dealing damage equal to Resolute Duelist's Competency stat as well as removing one beneficial effect on the target, clearing the boon with either the longest duration or, if none of the boons have a set duration, disables one boon for 2 rounds. This skill does not trigger if the Duelist is unable to move, such as if the Duelist is Frozen, Stunned, Immobilized, Asleep, or Mesmerized. This skill stacks with Riposte, allowing both skills to potentially trigger against the same missed attack.
2 round cooldown between triggers.

Feint-Interchange: Using precisely timed movements, the Resolute Duelist pierces through a target’s defenses. If this attack hits, the target’s Defense is reduced by 20% for 2 Rounds, and the Duelist’s Defense is increased by the amount removed for the same duration. If this attack crits, the amount of Defense removed and converted is equal to 30% instead.
4 round cooldown after the effect expires.

Hamstring Slice: The Resolute Duelist lashes out at a single target with the intent to disable them. If this attack connects, it deals standard Competency damage and applies Disadvantage to the target for its next turn.

Dire Flunge: The Resolute Duelist takes advantage of any current debilitations already applied to their target, striking at them for standard Competency damage with a chance equal to 50% of their Competency stat to inflict Severe Wounds for 2 Rounds. If this attack crits, the application chance is doubled. If the application chance overcaps, the chance rolls over into critical application chance. A target inflicted with Severe Wounds cannot heal, resets the duration of all DoTs currently applied to them, and increases incoming damage by 20% for its duration.

Tier 5: Levels 40-44

Defiant Advance: Light on their feet and determined in posture, the Resolute Duelist instantly clears all movement-impairing effects from themselves (minus freeze, stun, or sleep) before making a vengeful attack. This attack deals standard Competency damage, and gains additional bonuses depending on the amount of effects cleared: for each effect cleared, the Resolute Duelist gains 10% accuracy and 20% bonus damage.
4 round cooldown.

Second Intention: The Resolute Duelist selects an ally and grants them a bonus to their evasion equal to all of the Duelist’s current evasion bonuses for the next 2 Rounds. If the chosen ally is targeted by an enemy attack during this duration and the ally successfully evades the attack, the Resolute Duelist intercepts the attack and Slows the target for 1 Round, and they additionally trigger any Riposte skills they have. Triggering any Riposte in this way place them on their standard cooldown.

Demoralizing Mien: Proving their resilience in drawn-out combat, the Resolute Duelist performs a Competency Check at Advantage versus all enemies on the field. If an enemy fails their Save, they are afflicted with Lethargy.

Tête-à-tête: An expert at fighting one-on-one, the Resolute Duelist ensures the playing field remains balanced… for their side, anyway. The Duelist performs a Competency check versus a single target of choice. If the check is passed, the chosen target may not benefit from any aid from any of its allies (they may not benefit from buffs, heals, rezzes, team attacks, etc.) for 2 Rounds.
5 round cooldown after the effect expires.
