Levels 20-24
Skill:
Meditation: The Monk is a master of calm focus in combat, granting him/her 5% bonus accuracy and 5% bonus evasion passively. In addition, this skill may be activated in order to send the Monk into a hyper-meditative state, doubling this bonus and allowing any failure check to be rerolled once (the GM will reroll the first failure again). Activating this skill does not consume the Monk's turn, allowing them to perform any action after hyper-meditating. This skill may only be activated once every 4 rounds.

Staggering Punch: The Monk attacks with a powerful punch, dealing 1.5x damage and having a 50% chance to Stagger the target for three turns. If this attack is a critical hit, the Stagger is guaranteed. This attack has a 4 round cooldown.

Levels 25-29
Skill:
Inner Peace: The Monk's discipline and rigorous training has allowed them to heal their mind and body, granting them a 20% chance to heal themselves for 5% of their max HP every time they take damage. This effect is passive and can heal critically, but may only occur once per round, and is not applied by DoTs.
Rupee Cost: 350
Skill:
Feign Weakness: The Monk fakes being close to death, increasing their chance of being targeted by all enemies by 2x the total party size for 1 round (ie, if the Monk's party size is 6, the Monk's targeting numbers become a 1-12). Anticipating the strikes, they then bolster themselves, granting 70% damage reduction when struck during that round and performing an automatic counterattack for 50% of their Competency if hit. The counterattack does not need to pass accuracy, and has an additional 20% chance to be a critical hit due to the enemy's lack of guard. 7 round cooldown.
Special Rules: If the Monk is not hit during this time (even if they were targeted, but the enemy(ies) missed), this skill has a 5 round cooldown instead.
