Experience Formulas Player Experience FormulaThe basic player experience formula is as follows: Base: 100
1.1514x Base per level (rounded to nearest 25)Therefore, a level 1 player needs 100 xp to get to level 2. A level 2 player needs 125 xp to get to level 3. (Experience is set back to 0 each time you level, and any leftover experience not used to level you is spilled into the next level. For example, if you earned 200 xp at level 2, you'll level to level 3, and be already 75 exp into your level!) *This system also applies to being leveled by Post Count. If you are partially into a level and you level by Post Count, your remaining EXP is transferred into the next level. For example, if you are 50 exp into level 1 and level to 2 by Post Count, you will start with 50/125 exp into level 2. Post Count Leveling FormulaA player levels 1 level every time they match the post count requirement for their tier. For example, players within Tier 1 level every time they make 50 posts. Players in tier 2 level every time they make 75 posts. The post count requirement for leveling increases by 25 per tier. Players who participate in the fight and land at least one hit or proc a buff/heal for an ally who participated gain full experience from the enemy they targeted. If a player misses their hit or does not use an ally buff, they only gain half exp from their target. Skill Formulas Weight & Sneaking:The Sneak formula uses Competency in order to determine if a player has gone undetected. Worn armor material also affects how well a player may sneak. The Sneak formula is as follows: Target Competency : User CompetencyThe Sneak formula pits the Enemy's Competency value up against his/her own Competency stat as an Odds formula. For example, if an Enemy's Competence is 12, and a player's Competence is 14, the player has a 54% chance to successfully Sneak past the enemy. However, there are penalties that reduce the chance depending on armor material (Chest slot only): Platemail reduces Sneak by 20%
Chainmail reduces Sneak by 10%
Cloth and Leather have no negative effects on Sneak.Therefore, if the player with the 54% odds to Sneak is wearing Platemail, the Sneak chance is reduced to 34%.
